This rack bolts directly to the roof of the Ford Transit. All mounting hardware is included. The maximum load capacity is 500 lbs - evenly distributed. The 2" x 1" rectangular shaped aluminum crossbars are reinforced with channels and protected on the top by a non-slip plastic bar guard. The low-profile uprights are equipped with two 1" eyehook tie-down supports, made of 3mm thick aluminum and sit 10.75" high. The Ford Transit Rack System includes one 5" ladder stop, one 5.5" ladder guide, and 1 Velcro strap that secures up to 75 lbs.
