The rack is equipped with 69.5" aluminum tracks that require 4 anchors to be bolted to the roof of the Ford Transit. All mounting hardware is included. The track system fit onto the Transit Connects factory bolt (drilling required for extension). The maximum load capacity is 500 lbs - evenly distributed. The crossbars are 2" x 1" rectangular 14 gauge heavy-duty steel and protected on top by a non-slip plastic bar guard. The 10.75" low-profile upright mounts are made of 11-gauge steel and equipped with two 1" eye hook tie-down supports.
