Yakima 8004082 HandRoll Kayak Roller Cradles are designed for easy loading, unloading and the transport of kayaks. The HandRoll offers a unique design that allows you to roll your kayak on and off your vehicle with ease. The Dynaflex pivoting, rubber padded rollers adjust to most hull shapes for smooth rolling. HandRoll cradles function best when the rear cross bar is positioned far enough toward the rear of your vehicle to allow loading from the rear without interference from your roof or trunk. Once your kayak is rolled into position, the rollers lock in place and the rubber wheels grip your hull to prevent movement. Yakima's 8004082 HandRoll cradles function best on station wagons, vans, SUVs and pickup trucks due to the rear loading requirement (sedan trunks and vehicles with racks positioned forward make it difficult to load from the rear).
