It was designed with the input from second-generation hunters, who hunt for food and use every part of the kill. The blade is hollow ground and will maintain a narrow edge for many sharpenings. A hollow ground blade also allows for a knife to have a thicker spine, increasing durability and strength, should it be needed for other tasks besides skinning. The finish on the blade is Cerakote, over CPM S35VN stainless steel, makes for a blade that will handle many inhospitable environments.
