Big Tree Magic Pendant with New Lander Variscite
It's no wonder the magic of trees, especially in March. They are laid bare, cold, and tall by the Winter holding light and small fighters who rustle in and out of branches. A small and fluffy Squirrel. A Flicker. A flurry. Singing the big tree magic in March like a dance, steps aligning with the thump thump of my warm heart. ... BIG tree magic, in New Lander Variscite! This piece had been drawn, pierced, and laid to rest on my bench, set aside for what seems like a decade. It's funny how some seasons really just require a new lens. And this piece came to fruition after revisiting some poetry I wrote a few years ago around this time. The tree form really didn't do much for me back then, hence her hiatus, and really didn't come to full form until I started rolling my own silver sheet.
