The name Caput-Medusae means head of Medusa named after the unique shape and form of this species. The fuzzy leaf tendrils curl tightly when dry and straighten out when properly hydrated. This plant ships green and treated to flower or just starting to flower with spike, note warmer home temperatures and stronger lighting increase bloom speed and quality. If the plant isn’t in bloom upon receipt, please know it has been treated to bloom 4 weeks - 8 weeks from arrival. The warmer the home environment, the quicker the air plant will produce flowers.
