To Face a New Morn - giclee print.

A fine art gicleé print on thick cotton rag paper. Half inch border on all sides, edges hand deckled.  I first saw this awesome rock face above Moab in 2022. I’ve gone back several times since. Set high above the reservoir, this stone face stands as a guardian and a watcher, catching the dawn and holding the strings of tension as the sun and the moon hold their dance. I have returned and painted here several times. This is from a picture I took last year. I see in this piece a call to resiliency, the wildness in the eyes of a woman who has wept all night but rises to greet the morning, a hoisting of the pack to continue on down the trail, with eyes to the warming light of dawn.
