Pixuri Seeds - Puxuri, Puxurim
Puxuri Seeds (Licaria puchury-major) Known as the "Brazilian Nutmeg", these seeds are native to the Amazon forest, they smell absolutely delicious, and are used for perfumery and food in Brazil but the use is still pretty limited to the Amazon area. History: Japanese immigrants contributed a lot to the agricultural development of the Amazon region and Francisco, son of one of these Japanese immigrants, is responsible for the cultivation of the puxuri I carry. It all started with his grandfather, one of the Japanese immigrants who settled in Tomé-Açu, the third largest Japanese colony in the country, located in western Pará. His grandfather had knowledge of agriculture and agroforestry. Thus, the cultivation of this seed in the region was started with great care by Francisco's grandfather, who took seeds from the Amazon to Tomé-Açu.
