Smoked Trout Filets
Delicately smoked boneless, skinless trout filets sourced from Denmark, packed with sunflower oil and salt. The best we've tasted! At a trade show, we happened to find the Minnow booth, and we flipped when we tasted their smoked trout. How can tinned fish be so delicious? And what a natural partner for a bowl of Rancho Gordo heirloom beans or lentils! Aside from a bowl of beans, Minnow recommends: "Serve it in the classic Danish smørrebrød style on rye bread with creme fraiche with capers, red onion, cucumbers & lemon. It's an easy and delicious addition to a salad where the flavorful oil it's packed in makes a great base for a dressing. Or whip it up into a trout mousse with aioli and fresh herbs."
