Desert Cap

These desert caps were born out of frequent asks from our customers to add sun coverage to our existing caps.  Nate, our friend and excellent luthier (@stahmanguitars) was our most recent ask and it turned out so great we decided to make a limited run. This is our favorite linen to date - a perfect medium weight with a hand that feels like it will hold up to long days in the saddle.   Linen is an ideal fabric for warm to hot and humid weather.  It absorbs perspiration and, similar to wool, linen is also odor resistant making it a perfect choice for summer touring. At a medium weight of 5.3 ounces and with its smooth look and tighter weave, this linen is neither sheer or heavy.  Made with our classic four panel proportions with an added sun-protective flap. Our brims are slightly wider than standard cycling caps giving you a bit more protection from the elements. 9" flap for full neck coverage Elastic in back panel for a nice fit. 100% Linen, 100% cotton twill tape
