What to Expect: This intensive one-day course is designed to rapidly enhance your primary long-range shooting skills. You'll engage targets from 100 to over 1000 meters, with students typically achieving 1/4 to 1/3 minute of angle (MOA) groups. Course Highlights: Prone Shooting: Master the basics of stable shooting positions. Scope Knowledge: Learn to use MIL/MIL, MOA/MOA, MIL/MOA, FFP, and SFP scopes effectively. Rifle Setup & Data: Understand rifle setup and use chronograph data. Shooting Fundamentals: Apply breathing techniques and the "Fire C.A.R.D." method. Wind Reading: Develop skills to read wind and adjust for conditions. Shooter/Spotter Communication: Improve coordination with spotters. Ballistics & Ammo Selection: Grasp basic ballistics and select the right cartridge. Ballistics Computer Use: Utilize ballistics computers for precise shooting. Rifle Maintenance: Learn essential maintenance practices. Equipment Selection: Choose the right gear for your needs. Included: Rental Rifle (U.S. Students Only): Available with terminator muzzle brakes for an additional fee. Ammo Requirement: Students must provide 100 rounds of precision ammo.
