Metamorphosis

20" x 16"edition of 9 Our image of a woodland nymph morphing from one form to another, embracing that transition, aging, and evolution are natural parts of life to be approached with curiosity, joy, and open-heartedness. To create Metamorphosis, we sculpted and detailed our digital subject, adorning them in vibrant mushrooms and verdant moss. For such a portrait, we took a modern-ish take on an art nouveau style tableau. This was a fun exploration, reminiscent of our works such as Nectar and Bella Donna, and is currently inspiring more explorations in this vein. Part of the Harvest group show at Modern Eden.
