Ransom Génépi

Ransom Génépi is an homage to the European tradition of herbal liqueurs made from the genus artemisia (wormwood) and other flowering herbs and spices. In keeping with this ancient tradition, our Génépi infusion is derived from local ingredients including many of the botanicals foraged here at the Ransom Farm in Sheridan, Oregon. The recipe and process were a collaboration between renowned mixologist Graham Essex, Ransom Master Distiller Matt Cechovic and Ransom Winemaker Julia Cattrall. The team used a complex process of multiple infusions and distillations in our direct fire alembic pot-still to build the complex aromas and flavors found in the Ransom Génépi. Only the ‘hearts of hearts’ (the very best portion of the distillate) are retained for this special bottling. Please enjoy in moderation.
