Rare Coffee - Blurred Lines

This is a 50/50 blend of our Maduro and Oscuro roasts. Incredible complexity, born from a cigar blender mindset. Rare Coffee Oscuro Blend is grown at an altitude between 4,500 and 5,000 feet above sea level in the northern Nicaraguan towns of Ocotal, Jinotega, and Matagalpa. This high altitude directly improves the quality of the coffee. We use a blend of three varieties: Parainema, Maragogipe and Caturra. The beans are analyzed for flavor, body, acidity and balance. They only pass if they score 86 points or more out of 100. This level of quality can only be achieved in small batches. The beans are packaged immediately after hand-roasting and sorting.
