Fabulous Antique Epergne

This antique centerpiece is really stunning! The pierced details are absolutely exquisite. A tall pedestal graces the center with reticulated details surrounding the upper bowl as well as the base. On either side are two chalice shaped dishes that are able to be removed and passed around the table. Note the complimentary pierced design on the bottom of these. All 3 sit on a stand that has 4 ball feet. Made by JH Potter, who was known for his creations for passenger liners, this is a very special and unique find! I wonder if this graced the tables of any great ships! It is 9.5" tall x 14" wide, silverplate, and in excellent antique condition.
