Antique Gentleman's Wine Bottle Holder

This wine bottle holder is unlike anything I've seen before! I'm drawn to its distinctive masculine features, particularly the imposing shield and fierce animal motif. Crafted in by the renowned Meriden Silver Plate Co., it bears a patent mark from June 9, 1908. It could probably be polished more to acheive the same silver shine of its center emblem, it likely boasts a Britannia plate finish, maintaining its brushed dark silver appearance. Standing at 6 inches tall and 4 inches wide, it's both a conversation piece and a functional addition to any collection.
