Like the TM400, the ZS-LRHMa kit is based around Lectrosonics Digital Hybrid Wireless technology, using a proprietary algorithm to encode the digital audio into an analog format to  be transmitted over an analog FM wireless link. This combination offers the superb audio quality of a pure digital system and the outstanding operating range of one of the finest FM wireless systems.
