Woman Surrounded by Cherry Blossoms Bookmark

This leather bookmark is engraved with a classical illustration of a woman's profile with tree blossoms. The historical illustration featured was scanned from a book that is over 100 years old and adapted before being engraved on veggie tan leather. Historical illustrations are a passion of mine and it feels very satisfying to think that by adapting old and forgotten art the piece of work can live on in a new medium.
