Hackmanite "Shauna"
Beautiful rough Hackmanite piece. Hackmanite is a member of the Sodalite family and can be found in shades of violet, pink, blue, yellow, and green, but most commonly is a dusty white. It was first discovered in 1901 and is UV reactive, turning bright orange when under a blacklight. It also temporarily changes color when exposed to sunlight (a phenomenon called "tenebrescence"), turning a deep violet color. A great stone for those looking to tap into their intuitive abilities, Hackmanite is believed to unblock and grant access to the crown chakra. It’s also thought to help balance the energy of the crown chakra and aid one’s journey of spiritual growth and ascension. If the color becomes lighter over time and you prefer it to be more vibrant, you may recharge it in the sun and the effect will return. How We Source Our Crystals and Stones: We're not your average
