Whether you’ve whiled away, swaying in a rocking chair at the Hunt Store, made a lifetime of memories at the local summer camp, or rode a canoe down onto the flats - you know this place is TRULY majestic. A town untouched, a step back in time, offering a slice of paradise to all who enter. She welcomes the out-of-towners, the day trippers, and wayfarers with open arms, a warm smile, and a tip O’ the ol hat. It is hard to believe that the floods of the 4th ripped through this town in the way it did and through the hearts of so many. Thoughts are with those who call the hill country home and those who have been affected by the events and tragedy of that day. What makes the heart mend a little, is witnessing all of us Texans show up, uplift one another, and extend a helping hand
