Raw Silk Fabric Cuttings - Bundle

These fun textiles are made with a raw silk that has a wonderful slubby, stripe texture and dyes so well. There are two prints that have been created by a composting method I developed. All of the plants were harvested locally. One measures 15x35 inches and is hollyhock and rust. Originally this pattern was made for the 2018 collection that was then converted into a digital print. This is an original. The second piece measures 24x35 inches and is woad leaves with an iron mordant. It was more of a series of experiments.  Water is part of the process so all textiles are pre shrunk. Hand washing and air dry is recommended.
