silk shawl - natural dyed

Dark Shawl is part of the 2020 capsule collection - The Magic Within. This raw silk shawl / Poncho, is made to be worn by any sexual orientation. There is one size which is aprox 50 x 58 inches. It was dyed with natural colors from logwood, indigo, and cochineal. The pattern was made with a stitched shibori method. Each shawl has a magnetic clasp at the neck line to lightly secure. I have custom handcrafted each charm with semi precious stones and beads. They are all unique and it is a surprise in which one you will get. The edges are hand rolled and machine stitched. The raw silk has slubs similar to dupioni and there is a wonderful crispness to the hand. I recommend hand washing and air dry for longest life and color fastness. Yes, you can also use an iron.
