Two girls stand at the edge of the Gulf, pausing between movement and stillness. A bright green float catches the last light of day, glowing against the cooler blues and purples of water and sky. The artwork is created from hand-painted tissue paper that was torn, layered, and collaged onto canvas. Each fragment holds visible brushstrokes and texture, allowing light and movement to emerge through layering rather than detail.
