Farm House Kola Tea

A Loose Leaf Tea inspired by our favorite Colas Did you know Kola (or cola) isn't some made up word but is actually a nut from West Africa. In fact most of the popular "cola" brands today started out using some form of Kola nuts in their original recipes.  When you stop and think about it colas are just teas concentrated into syrup and mixed into carbonated water. So why not take a step backward and just make a Kola Tea, no artificial flavors, high fructose corn syrup or phosphoric acid. We've combined Black Tea, Kola Nuts, Cinnamon, Lemon Verbena and Ginger to recreate the traditional American cola flavor in the simple form of a tea that you can enjoy hot or cold For sweeteners we prefer a teaspoon of Dark Brown Sugar per serving to really bring home that cola taste 10z will make 10 8oz servings or 2 quarts
