Persimmon Butter Keeper

This Butter Keeper is hand-thrown from creamy-white porcelain clay and has a hand-painted, hand-carved Persimmon Branch design. It is glazed with a glossy dishware-safe clear glaze. The butter crock, also known as a "butter bell" or butter keeper, is a two-piece butter dish alternative that keeps butter fresh on the counter for up to a month without refrigeration. The butter goes in the “bell,” which you place in the water-filled crock. With the bell inside the crock, it measures about 3.75" tall. The bell holds 7oz. One stick of butter is 4oz. This piece is microwave and dishwasher-safe.
