Organic Dried CurrantsZante currants are dried berries of small, sweet, seedless grape cultivar, Black Corinth Grape. These sun-dried organic zante currants are very small and intensely flavored. Zante currant is one of the oldest known raisins, first cultivated in ancient Greece on the Ionian Island of Zakynthos or "Zante," the English translation. Containing Vitamin C, iron, and calcium and packed with flavor, Zante currants are terrific in baked goods. They are also a perfect ingredient for other baked goods, granolas, and yogurt.
