These hinges are optimized for 3/8 thick walls and allow the screws to enter the wood from the inside face in both the Sidewall and the Frontwall, or, with a strip on the edge of the opening panel, from the edge (as shown in the photos of a hinged-bay-wall set). This gives the strongest orientation for hinge-support and attachment, and yet they are very subtle from the outside, blending in better than other hinging styles.A continuous hinge is a single unit hinge that typically spans the full length of a door, cabinet, lid, or enclosure entrance.
