It looms over Crawford Notch and looks gorgeous framed by tall hemlocks along the shore of tiny Ammonoosuc Lake. The fullest greens of summer were on view when I painted this scene on a cloudless day. The mountain and forests were flawlessly reflected in the glassy waters of the lake.
