Short Sleeve Quilt Tee- Dresden Plate

This short sleeve quilt tee was made using an antique wool and cotton quilt from the early to mid 1900s. It features a bright dresden plate block over beautiful orange fabric. It is in good condition for its age, with signs of washing causing the unique crinkled effect and bearding. Bearding is the act of the batting fibers migrating through the the quilt top and backing, leaving a fuzzy or "beard-like" appearance and texture. However, this quilt is all hand pieced with great attention to detail and extended efforts to reduce the bearding appearance. The pattern created for this short sleeve tee has been designed to fit a variety of bodies, intentionally boxy for a comfortable fit. It features a new bound edge for longevity and clean look.
