El Mango sits at 1,500 meters above sea level and spans 8 hectares. It’s named for the handful of mango trees scattered across the land—rare at this elevation, but here they offer welcome shade to the coffee trees.  This is also where it all began for Don Régulo, who planted his first coffee trees here at just 18 years old. Today, the farm is run with care for the future. That means intentional shade management, soil-first fertilization, limited herbicide use, protection of nearby water sources, and planting fruit trees to support biodiversity.
