Burundi- Busambo Natural Lot #10

This coffee was known as Merry & Bright at the end of last year. We have a small amount left and wanted to highlight this coffee now that Campazi Natural is no longer in our lineup.  This is another exceptional coffee from Burundi Seeds Specialty (BSS) and their UMOCO Washing Station. This standout lot from Busambo left an unforgettable impression on our cupping table. Through an innovative land lease model, BSS has planted over 38,000 coffee trees while supporting neighboring smallholders impacted by the closure of a local station. Together, they process all cherries at the UMOCO Washing Station, fostering sustainability and excellence in every step. Cultivated by 518 farmers from the Busambo community in Kayanza Province, this coffee truly shines. Their natural process involves drying coffee cherries on raised tables along with a unique 3–5 day yeast fermentation phase.  The result? A vibrant coffee with notes of juicy peach, gummy candy, and a hint of ginger making it a cup that
