Electric fields result from stationary charges, while magnetic fields arise from moving charges or currents. EMF is measured in milligauss (mG). Our saunas are designed with low EMF levels. Our Low EMF sauna models typically emit an average of 5mG-10mG when measured approximately two inches from the heater panel. For our Ultra Low EMF sauna models, the measurements typically range between 3mG-5mG at a similar distance.
