Si Jun Zi Tang (Four Gentlemen)

Si Jun Zi Tang, a.k.a. the "Four Gentlemen" decoction, is a formula that is primarily used in Eastern medicine to help build blood and xi. Basically, this stuff supports ATP production (a.k.a. the energy currency of the body... it makes the meat machine go) and possibly helps the formation of blood.  The Four Gentleman has classically been used for the treatment of shortness of breath, loss of appetite, loose stool or diarrhea, lethargy, and water retention.
