Alcoholics Anonymous First Edition 16th Printing from 1954 with ODJ

This is a First Edition Sixteenth Printing of the Big Book with an original dust jacket. This was the last printing of the First Edition Big Book. It was unexpected for this printing to be released due to plans for the 2nd Edition release date in 1955. There was a need for more books to be printed ahead of the scheduled release because the 15th printings were selling so fast! There were only 15,700 printings released in August 1954. This book is in good condition. The cover shows wear with stains, fading and damage to the cloth at the bottom corner of the front and back covers. The gold lettering on the spine is fading. The book is fully intact with no missing pages. There are pen markings at the front of the book. The dust jacket has wear and a torn section of the front cover and spine.
