Rachel Seller 1882

God is Love.  It’s a simple three-word sentence stitched by a 12-year-old girl in 1882. What do those three words reveal about the stitcher, Rachel Seller?  Did she stitch it as part of a Sunday school lesson? Was it her idea or a teacher's? Had those three simple words been ingrained in her from day one?  What we do know is Rachel grew up surrounded by faith, by a strong belief in God, and in a household where God was front and center. It would make sense she mirrored those foundational beliefs as she managed her household and raised her own children.  God is love.
