Growing Lavender Workshop for the Gardener 2026

What an amazing herb! So many benefits why would someone not include lavender in their garden. Add lavender to your walkway up to your door so as your visitors walk up to your home they smell that amazing lavender scent. Adding lavender to your garden or landscaping attracts so many pollinators and even hummingbirds. In this basic class you will get hands on instructions with our owner, David Duffey, of how to plant lavender correctly for growing lavender in our area. In this class you will pick out your own 4" variety of lavender (4-5 to choose from) that we have at our plant table and step by step plant it in a pot, learning our technique and amendments needed to grow lavender in Georgia. From our class you can later transplant your lavender to a larger pot or into your special place in your garden adding this amazing scented and beauty herb.
