Cake spice (also known as Mixed Spice or Pudding Spice) is a traditional pantry staple in England. Use this spice in your cake, cookie and pie recipes. Sub out British Cake Spice for the spices called for in the recipe. However, we usually up the quantity to really give our baked goods some oompf. For a single layer cake batter and standard batch of cookies, we add 1 Tbl. This blend is also excellent in glazes, stirred into your morning oatmeal or sprinkled on yogurt.  Ingredients: Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg, Cloves, Cardamom, Ground Vanilla Beans Pound purchases are handled directly with staff.
