O FORTUNA! - Polychromatic Fuzz

O FORTUNA!   One of the things I love most about music is its ability to convey emotion and feelings in a way that transcends the limitations of language. But sometimes there are passages of language that manage to convey those emotions in a unique and beautiful way. The medieval Latin Goliardic poem “O Fortuna”, written in the 13th century, is one such passage.                                                                                   (I have included the poem below). For the next pedal in my Nouveau series I took this poem and created a pedal which I feel aligns with the text of this poem. With it’s epic, panoramic vision…. Fortuna offers fuzz with the ability to dial in an Octavia effect (generating a note an octave above the note you’re playing) and a sub octave note ( one octave below the note you’re playing).
