These gorgeous stones are Chrysocolla and Native Copper in Chalcedony. They remind me of an underwater scene with floating plant life. I've added sterling silver ammonites that I cast from an actual ammonite fossil, and a wavy bar that echoes the free-form floating shapes. The earrings are prong-set in sterling silver baskets with hand-formed sterling silver wear wires. All silver is oxidized and polished for depth and contrast. Ammonites were shelled cephalopods that died out about 66 million years ago. With their spiral shape, they're considered symbols of change and positive motion. The spiral draws in negative energy, filtering it through the chambers and releasing new, positive energy. These stones are from Obi island, North Maluku, Indonesia.
