  This knife is extremely stout and ergonomic for long days in the woods. The blade profile harkens to the bush knives of Scandinavia, while still holding true to the unique influences of the American Western frontier.  The blade’s low sabre grind is one example of this: The dual bevels bring good splitting ability when batonning kindling, while keeping the sharpened portion of the blade small and manageable for upkeep in the field.
