This module is needed on ES models to correct electronic shifting issues after reduction. 2005-2011 Foreman 500 uses this early style module as well as 350 Rancher ES, 400/450 Foreman ES(02+ needs 2 modules) and 650/680 Rincon(2 modules). Contact us about your model before ordering for furthet details. We pre-program these for your reduction size so that they are plug-n-play. The manufacturer states the module is waterproof to 10' depth.
