Purple Candelabra Gorgonian (frag) - Muriceopsis sp (4 inches)

Purple Candelabra Gorgonians are a very sustainable Gorgonian that is photosynthetic and also are regarded as a suspension feeder as are many Gorgonians.  They do best within areas of a reef aquarium with moderate light and good water flow.  We attach to a plug in order to make them self standing.  These are somewhat easy to keep, are a great addition to any reef and are easily manageable.   Various colorful Ricordia, Red Tree Sponge and Yellowhead Jawfish are among the many species found in proximity to these.
