This is a rare version of the Reference level weights featuring a full Mpingo design. One currently available  Finish: Full Mpingo. Finely sanded and polished.   Features: • Easily slips over the spindle on your turntable. Ergonomic design makes it easy to take on and off. • Better secures record to the platter for pitch stability. • Helps flatten the record to provide better tracking. • African hardwoods such as mpingo are used by many musical instruments for their sonic properties. The overall end result is cleaner sound with less distortion, lower noise floor and better definition. Plus, the African hardwoods are known in this application for a larger soundstage, better separation and an enriched tonal balance.
