Netgear Prosafe GS748TP 48 Port PoE Switch Description: The Netgear Prosafe GS748TP are 48 port network switches designed for small and medium businesses. The switch is a Power over Ethernet switch that can provide full IEEE 802.3af power to end devices such as IP phones. The switch has 384 watts of available power, or power for up to 24 end devices at full power. Additional capabilities of the GS748TP include support for Quality of Service, VLANs, IGMP, and SNMP. These features make this layer 2 switch an ideal choice for converged network deployments. All 48 ports on the switch are Gigabit allowing for true Gigabit to the desktop speeds. Ports 45, 46, 47, and 48 are combo SFP ports that support either Ethernet copper or fiber connectivity. The Netgear GS748TP features a web based browser management.
