This Honda CL450 Regulator Rectifier should be used only in conjunction with the stock (OE) stator. The part will replace both the regulator and the rectifier. The OE stator is actually (2) full-wave circuits with a center tap that is being used as the 3rd leg for the ground of the regulator rectifier. It will come with a connector kit that customers will need to install, instructions included. This regulator rectifier will only work with a 12-volt charging system. This part is not compatible with lithium batteries. (Lithium Batteries require a lower charge point. We do have a lithium version available), please email us. Please also note this R/R has a voltage set-point of 14.9VDC. The original regulator may have had these markings on it 12 V RS210612CZR90. This combination part(regulator and rectifier) will not mount in the stock location. Replaces, but is not limited to, OEM numbers: 31400-292-670, 31700-455-671, 31700-292-008
