A pair of large vintage andirons comprised of tall twisted wrought iron columns on trefoil-detailed feet, surmounted by substantial cast brass gadrooned finials in an aged polished finish. The darkened wrought iron is massive, but deftly handled with fine twists, scrolls, surface chiseling, and foliate lobes. Complete with their original wrought iron crossbar also terminating in cast brass finials on each end.
