The snake and the moon both share common symbolism: transformation and renewal. The snake above sheds its skin to reveal a renewed set of scales underneath, similar to the moon’s waxing and waning. The pair of snakes allude to the ouroboros, balancing the delicate veil between opposites: sleep and wake, life and death.These pendants are made of solid sterling silver that has been oxidized to show detail.
