For over 140 years, this small family business near Chesapeake Bay, MD has been making quality traditional split-oak baskets by hand for hard-working gardeners and market farmers. Part of our national craft heritage, their basket making process is documented in the Smithsonian Institute. Baskets Are Available In 2 Sizes: Square Basket: 13x13x4 in. drop-handled basket is perfect for herbs, flowers, and salads. Originally designed in the 19th century as a pie man’s basket! Rectangular Basket: the perfect workhorse: larger 18x12x4 in. size is big enough so only one trip from garden to kitchen is necessary. Please note: Baskets ship directly from the vendor.
