Burial-dreamfear/the boy sent from above

All hail! As Burial emerges from the shadows once more to bless us mere mortals with the fruits of his labour. He returns to XL Recordings following that collab with Four Tet and Thom Yorke, and going further back in time, a remix for the latter. 'Dreamfear' could almost have come out on the label in the early '90s with its homage to the halcyon days of breakbeat hardcore but with a mixture of ecstasy and melancholia that's distinctly Burial. 'Boy Sent From Above' also has an oldskool feel, but again through the Burial lense and when it hits peak euphoria, it's a total mind tingler. The record's overall feel is like finding an old pirate radio mixtape with the emotions of hearing it at the time somehow embedded into the music.
