From the estate of a WWII veteran. An aviation aluminum lunchbox or toolbox. Excellent condition. Measures 10" x 6-1/2" x 6. Appears to have been a school or personal project which was fabricated during U.S. Navy Aviation Metalsmith School (1943). Constructed completely of aviation aluminum and stamped on the inside "ALCLAD 24S-T". Amazing attention to detail! Name tag riveted on the front documenting the sailor's name and school information.
